Dr. Edward Cho

Biography

Edward Cho is a Lecturer IV at the University of Michigan's Department of Economics, where he teaches courses such as Financial Markets, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Intermediate Macroeconomics. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a B.A. in Economics & Math/Applied Science, graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego. Cho has received several teaching awards, including the Golden Apple Award at the University of Michigan and was recognized with a Certificate of Distinction in Teaching at Harvard. Besides his teaching experience at prestigious institutions like Harvard and MIT, Cho has also worked briefly as a litigation consultant in private industry before returning to academia, which he feels is his true passion. In addition to his role as an educator, he serves as an undergraduate concentration advisor within his department. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling and exploring culinary experiences.
