Dr. Elizabeth Dhuey

Biography

Professor Elizabeth Dhuey specializes in Economic Analysis Policy at the Department of Management, University of Toronto Scarborough. She holds a graduate appointment at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, where she focuses on Leadership, Higher, and Adult Education. Dhuey is also cross-appointed non-budgetarily at the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, as well as at the Department of Economics and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the Rotman School of Management. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at McMaster University and is a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany. Dhuey chairs the Canadian Women Economists Committee and co-directs the FutureSkills research lab while serving as the academic director of the Research Initiative on Education and Skills. Her work has focused on various media topics including the Care Economy, Childcare Education Policy, Future Skills/Work, and Gender Diversity.
