Biography

Emily Michelle David is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She earned her PhD in Industrial-Organisational Psychology from the University of Houston. Before joining NUS, she served as an Associate Professor of Management at both the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai, China, and Zayed University in Dubai, U.A.E. Emily is passionate about education and has taught more than 20 courses across undergraduate, MBA, MSc, EMBA, and Executive Education programmes. Her teaching incorporates real-life examples from her extensive experience as an in-house researcher at NASA's Wyle Laboratories and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, in addition to her consulting work with various organisations in Houston, including Kuraray, Saudi ARAMCO, and Exxon Mobil. Her teaching excellence was recognized when she was named one of Poets & Quants' prestigious 'Best 40 Under 40 Business Professors' in 2019.
