Biography

From 1990 to 2002, Eric Roberts served as the associate chair and director of undergraduate studies for the Department of Computer Science at Stanford University. He was appointed as the Senior Associate Dean of the School of Engineering and later became the Faculty Director for Interdisciplinary Science Education in the office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. Throughout his career, Roberts has been involved in various significant educational initiatives and has played a crucial role in enhancing computer science education. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Association for Computing Machinery. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.
