Biography

Esther Kang is a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Bristol’s Business School. Her research focuses on areas including consumer learning, memory, mental simulation, and information processing. She investigates consumer psychology related to background music, charity campaigns, food imagery, and search engine inquiries. Prior to her role at Bristol, she was an Assistant Professor specializing in Consumer Psychology at the University of Cologne, Germany. Esther also holds an M.A. in Marketing and a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Ewha Womans University in South Korea. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a classically trained singer and enjoys listening to classical music, performing as a soloist, and being a choir member in churches. In her spare time, she loves to stroll through the streets and visit museums.
