Biography

Eveline Wittmann is a Professor of Vocational Education at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), having previously held a professorship in Business Education at the University of Bamberg. Dr. Wittmann specializes in technology-supported modeling and measurement in vocational professional action competence along with educational concepts relating to the digital transformation of work and professions. Her academic journey began with a study in business education and educational management with a focus on economics, political science, and contemporary history at the University of Mannheim. She completed her doctorate and habilitation at Humboldt University of Berlin and worked at the Leibniz Institute for Research and Development in Education from 2009 to 2011. Dr. Wittmann has been appointed as a Visiting Professor at Simon Fraser University in Canada and has received further offers from Technical University of Dresden and the University of Stuttgart. In addition to her teaching and research, she serves as a board member of the Section Vocational Business Education in the German Society for Educational Science.
