Biography

Fares Fraij received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to joining the University of Texas at Austin, he worked as an Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University in Jordan and as a Visiting Associate Professor at Taif University in Saudi Arabia. In addition to teaching, he has served in leading administrative positions, including Dean of the College of Information Technology and the Director of the Information Technology Center. His research focuses on Automatic Theorem Proving, Computer-Aided Instruction, and Visual-Assisted Pedagogy.
