Dr. Felipe Csaszar

Biography

Felipe Csaszar is the Alexander M. Nick Professor and Chair of the Strategy Area at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. His research examines how decision structures influence key organizational outcomes, innovation, financial performance, and social impact. He focuses on different types of decision structures, including managers' cognitive frameworks and organizational decision-making processes, as well as the emerging role of artificial intelligence in decision-making. Csaszar's work provides insights on how firms can enhance their strategic capabilities to successfully navigate increasingly complex business landscapes. He is particularly interested in combining formal modeling with empirical approaches to understand how firms make strategic decisions. His research has been published in top academic journals including Management Science, Organization Science, Strategy Science, and the Strategic Management Journal. Csaszar currently serves as a Senior Editor for Strategy Science and Management Science, and has held various leadership roles within the Academy of Management and INFORMS.
