Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Fereidoun Rezanezhad. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Fereidoun Rezanezhad uses field and innovative laboratory experiments to understand the mechanisms controlling a variety of chemical, biological, and physical processes in the subsurface. Since 2011, he has been a member of the Ecohydrology Research Group and serves as the group's co-op program coordinator. His research encompasses reactive interfaces in agro-ecosystems, hydrogeochemical processes at aquatic-terrestrial interfaces, biogeochemical cycles involving nutrients, and interactions between groundwater and surface water. Moreover, he focuses on hydrological and biogeochemical processes in peatlands and wetlands, including seasonal freeze/thaw dynamics, CO2, N2O, and CH4 production and fluxes. His work employs geophysical methods to assess subsurface biogeochemical processes and addresses threats to aquatic ecosystems, contamination and remediation in water, soil, and air, as well as the impacts of climate change on geosciences and increasingly complex water challenges.
Includes fields like Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
