Dr. Gabriele Jacobs

Biography

Gabriele Jacobs is a Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Culture at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her research interests include Organizational Change, Justice Identity, Leadership, International Public Safety Management, Civic Engagement, and methodologies related to these fields. Gabriele leads a multidisciplinary project called AI-MAPS (Artificial Intelligence Multi-Agency Public Safety), which involves collaboration between 20 partners from academia, the private sector, and civil society. She has previously served as Dean of the Erasmus University College and held the position of Academic Director of the International Business Administration Bachelor Programme at the Rotterdam School of Management. Gabriele earned her PhD from the University of Münster in Germany and has held various academic roles, including Assistant Professor at the University of Cologne and Visiting Professor at HEC Paris. She has presented her work at international conferences and published in numerous academic journals covering topics in organizational behavior, marketing, and management. Committed to addressing societal challenges, Gabriele actively engages in projects that advocate for sustainable and innovative solutions.
