Ganesan Narsimhan is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He started his academic career at Purdue in 1986 as an Assistant Professor of Food Engineering after a visiting Associate Professor stint in the School of Chemical Engineering from 1979 to 1982. He became an Associate Professor in 1992. Narsimhan earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. His research interests include food colloids, bioseparations, and various aspects of Food Process Engineering.
