Biography

Gaurav Khanna’s research focuses on development economics and labor economics. His current projects concentrate on migration, education, employment, supply chains, and crime. As an associate professor of economics at the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS), he is also a nonresident fellow at the Center for Global Development. Khanna serves as an editor for the Journal of Labor Economics and teaches courses at GPS, including Immigration Policy and Public Policy Capstone. Prior to joining UC San Diego, he worked at the Center for Global Development and the World Bank.
