Biography

George Braunegg is an Associate Professor of Practice in Accounting at the USC Marshall School of Business, bringing over 40 years of consulting experience in various areas including Corporate Distribution Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Risk Management. He co-founded CAST Management Consultants, a highly regarded boutique consulting firm, which was sold in 2017 after serving the largest financial services companies for over 31 years. In addition to his academic role, Professor Braunegg holds CPA licenses in California and Pennsylvania and serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including VOALA and SCADP. He is also an advisor to Terafina, a Silicon Valley fintech firm. Braunegg earned a B.S. magna cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from USC. His expertise not only lies in M&A but also spans across Corporate Strategy, Marketing Strategy, and Organizational Design and Effectiveness.
