Dr. Geranda Notten

Biography

Geranda Notten is a Full Professor specializing in comparative public policy, with a focus on poverty and social protection policy research in various jurisdictions including developed and developing countries such as Canada, Ontario, Europe, the United States, and Congo Brazzaville. She has served as a visiting researcher at prominent institutions like CEPS/INSTEAD in Luxembourg, the Kennedy School of Government in the United States, and Maastricht Graduate School of Governance in the Netherlands. Dr. Notten has also engaged in consultancy projects with international organizations such as the World Bank, European Union, and UNICEF in countries including Mauritius and Russia. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from Maastricht University (Netherlands) and has contributed significantly to the field through her research, publications, and supervision of graduate students.
