Geronimo Mendoza, a passionate educator and experienced oboist, has made significant contributions in both performance and teaching throughout his career. He has performed in several prestigious venues, including La Boheme with the Vancouver Opera and Le Sacre du printemps with the Vancouver Symphony. His collaborative efforts extend to diverse performances such as those with the Vancouver Intercultural Orchestra and the Vancouver New Music ensemble. Currently, he serves as Principal Oboe with the Vancouver Island Symphony and as an acting Oboe/English Horn player with the Vancouver Symphony, while also being a faculty member at the University of British Columbia.
