Biography

Gideon Rothschild is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computational Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2012, followed by postdoctoral work with Loren Frank at the University of California, San Francisco. His lab studies neural circuit mechanisms underlying sensory processing, memory, and sensation-memory interactions using electrophysiological and optical methods in freely behaving rodents.
