Gözde Demirer was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She received her B.S. in Chemical Biological Engineering from Koc University in 2015. Gözde completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Professor Markita Landry in 2020.
