Biography

Greg Davis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology. His research interests include visual cognition, attention, and decision making. He has collaborated with group members on innovative approaches to the measurement of attention and the (proto)social influences on visual search. His grant-funded work has developed search techniques for x-ray security screening and the detection of imminent crowd violence. Davis is actively involved in projects that enhance the understanding of sensory neuroscience and experimental psychology, and he takes PhD students. He is also available for consultancy work.
