Biography

Gunilla Blomqvist Sköldberg is a project coordinator and lecturer at the University of Gothenburg's School of Global Studies. She completed her PhD in Peace Development Research in 2004. Her work as a project coordinator has involved international election observation with the EU and OSCE, and she has led capacity-building programs in collaboration with the University of Rwanda, funded by Sida. Recent collaborative research projects include studies on masculinity in the port of Gothenburg and gender discourses within export industries. She is committed to understanding and addressing issues of gender in labor contexts.
