Biography

Haohsiang Liao is a Senior Lecturer in Chinese at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Global Languages program. He has taught various levels of Chinese curriculum and leads instruction in tiered subjects, contributing significantly to the regular curriculum track. Liao is part of the executive team for the MandarinX MOOCs offered on edX and participates in an academic panel focusing on the Chinese language. Before joining MIT, he taught Chinese at Williams College and Harvard University.
