Biography

Hayley Morrison is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta, specializing in Elementary Education. She focuses on research and professional development aimed at supporting teachers and educational assistants in providing meaningful movement experiences for students with disabilities in physical education. Her work advocates for inclusive practices and seeks to challenge ableist norms in educational settings. Hayley promotes joyful movement experiences and supports ethical teaching practices in physical education. Her research areas include Inclusive Adaptive Physical Education, Physical Education Teacher Education, and Professional Learning and Development.
