Biography

Heather Gittens is a Lecturer at the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at the City University of New York. She specializes in Business Communication, Editing, Nonprofit Communication, Persuasion, Public Relations, Public Speaking, and Writing. With a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the same institution, Heather has contributed significantly to the academic environment through her teaching and service. She is involved in several committees within Baruch College, participating actively in various aspects of academic life including mentoring students and facilitating courses focused on communication. She has received nominations for teaching awards and is known for her dedication to fostering student success in her fields of expertise.
