Professor Dr. Heidi Philipsen

Biography

Heidi Philipsen is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark in the Department of Design, Media and Educational Science. Her primary research interests lie in creative processes and sustainability in the media industry. She has a strong background in research areas including media, learning, creativity, innovation, and script development. Philipsen engages in various projects focused on co-creating climate adaptation and promoting ecoliteracy through playful approaches. She has participated in numerous conferences and workshops, sharing her expertise and insights into sustainable change in media production. In addition to her teaching duties, she supervises Ph.D. students and guides them through their academic journey, particularly in the context of media production and development. Her commitment to academia is evident through her active involvement in various research projects and organizational activities. Philipsen aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in her fields while fostering a collaborative environment for students and peers alike.
