Henriëtte Hendriks is a Professor at the University of Cambridge in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics, specializing in language acquisition and cognitive linguistics. Her major research focuses on the relationship between language and cognition, exploring how humans acquire language in both child and adult contexts. Hendriks completed her studies in Sinology at Leiden University and began her career at the Max-Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, where she coordinated various projects on child language acquisition.
