Biography

Hyojung Seo received a bachelor's and master's degree in Psychology from Seoul National University, South Korea. He completed his Ph.D. focused on behavioral neuroscience, specifically researching the neurophysiology of the oculomotor system. Following this, he pursued post-doctoral fellowships in decision neuroscience, which led to his position as an associate research scientist at Yale University. In 2016, he joined the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University as an assistant professor, later becoming an associate professor. His research interests cover various aspects of neuroscience, including behavioral studies, memory, learning processes, and neural mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia.
