Dr. Hyunsun Park

Biography

Hyunsun Park is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Dr. Park's research primarily focuses on employee voice proactivity and social class status dynamics. His work examines how organizations that do not reward employee voice can contribute to a lack of proactivity among employees, as well as how social class status influences individuals' experiences and behaviors within the workplace. His research has been published in prominent outlets including the Journal of Applied Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. He has received notable accolades such as the SIOP S. Rains Wallace Dissertation Award and the Academy of Management Paper Award. Dr. Park also serves on the Editorial Review Board for the Academy of Management Journal. His teaching emphasizes real-world relevance, an evidence-based approach, and personalized engagement with students.
