Ingo Sander is a professor in Electronic Systems Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in design methodologies for embedded systems. His main research interests focus on service guarantees in the final implementation of embedded systems. Currently, he is involved in developing a correct-by-construction design flow for mixed-criticality applications on shared multiprocessor platforms. Dr. Sander is a key contributor to ForSyDe (Formal System Design), a design methodology that encompasses the entire design process, from specification to final implementation, underpinned by formal foundations of models of computation (MoCs). He earned his MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, in 1990 and later completed his PhD at KTH in 2003. Prior to joining KTH, he worked as a system design engineer at Ericsson in Sweden from 1991 to 1993. He has been with KTH since 1993 and has held a professorship since January 2018.
