Biography

Iryna Konstantiuk is a Senior Instructor in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba, specializing in German and Slavic Studies, with a focus on Ukrainian and Russian Language and Culture. She holds a Master’s degree in Slavic Studies from the University of Manitoba and has a rich background in language education, having completed her language teaching studies at Kyiv University of Foreign Languages in Ukraine. Her research interests encompass distance blended learning and online language teaching methodologies, along with content development for school curricula that promote Ukrainian language and culture at various educational levels. She actively engages in the development of online resources for language learning and adopts innovative approaches to language education. Konstantiuk is dedicated to fostering cultural understanding and appreciation among her students and is currently accepting graduate students to further this mission.
