Biography

Jacqueline van Muijlwijk-Koezen is a full professor and group leader at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, focusing on Innovations in Human Health and Life Sciences. Her work emphasizes applying theoretical science education in the context of human health and pharmaceutical sciences. She leads research in didactics and innovative learning methods, particularly in drug discovery, aiming to improve educational programs in the Faculty of Science. Her studies facilitate discussions and implement educational innovations that benefit students, particularly in the Pharmaceutical Sciences program. With a focus on drug discovery, she explores fascinating aspects and unanswered questions in the field, motivating students' enthusiasm and curiosity in science. Additionally, she has served as Vice-Dean of Education for the Faculty of Science since November 2017 and has been involved in various ancillary activities, including leadership roles in educational and research organizations.
