James H. Killian, Ph.D., is a professor at the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, specializing in employee experience and customer experience management. With over 25 years of experience in global leadership roles and expertise in organizational behavior, leadership, and human resource management, he has authored 50 publications and has been a keynote speaker and board member at various organizations. His work focuses on the intersections of leadership, technology, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Dr. Killian has significant experience leading high-impact initiatives at firms such as Qualtrics, SAP, and IBM, assisting organizations in navigating complex talent and employee engagement challenges. He is an advisory board member for AI-based HR startups and is passionate about promoting innovative approaches to organizational assessments and leadership diagnostics. Dr. Killian holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa, along with a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
