Biography

Dr. McClellan received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1969 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Rice University in 1972 and 1973, respectively. From 1973 to 1982, he was a member of the research staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and held a professorship at MIT. Dr. McClellan subsequently worked at Schlumberger Services from 1982 to 1987. He retired in 2020 after a 33-year career at Georgia Tech, where he was a member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty starting in 1987. His research interests include Computer Technology, Applied Education, Sensor Array Signal Processing, Radar Signal Processing, and Software DSP.
