James Andrew Smith is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University. Dr. Smith has conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Sports Science in Jena, Germany.
