Biography

Jan Ole Størup is a PhD student specializing in Educational Psychology at Aarhus University. He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the Danish School of Education. His research focuses on collaborative information practices among lower secondary school pupils, emphasizing the nuances of how young people engage with digital technologies in meaningful ways within their everyday lives. Størup is particularly interested in the social implications of school and educational practices, examining how these environments shape the subjectivities of pupils, and how various educational technologies and assessment forms can co-produce pupil identities, sometimes marginalizing young people's potential.
