Biography

Janet Alsup is a Professor of English Education at Purdue University, where she has been a faculty member since 2000. Her research focuses on teacher professional identity development, young adult literature, empathy identity, and qualitative narrative inquiry. Alsup teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in English literacy education.
