Janice N Furlong is an Emeritus Clinical Professor at Boston University School of Social Work. With a Master of Social Work from Simmons College and a Bachelor's degree from Duke University, she has over 40 years of clinical practice experience. She is also a collaborator on a Health Resources Service Administration grant focused on training for interprofessional primary care in urban underserved communities. Additionally, Furlong has co-authored articles on topics such as interprofessional education in clinical settings and innovative pedagogical methods for teaching social work students about substance use disorders.
