Jeannette R. Ickovics is a Professor in the Department of Psychology and School of Public Health at Yale University. She completed her Ph.D. in 1989 at George Washington University. Dr. Ickovics has also spent five years working in Washington D.C., focusing on the intersection of social science and public policy, particularly in relation to healthcare access and inclusion of under-represented groups. Furthermore, she is currently developing medical school curricula that will integrate social and behavioral sciences into medical education at Yale.
