Biography

Passionate about teaching for years and an advocate for lifelong continuous learning, Jeff Barland has worked in Operations Management for over twenty-five years across retail, distribution, and manufacturing sectors. Throughout his career, he has held management positions in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Process Improvement, and Logistics Management. After graduating from the University of Dallas with a Doctor of Business Administration in 2022, he became certified in Project Management (PMI) and Supply Chain (CPIM) from APICS. Currently, he is working with Vroom to solve business problems using advanced analytics while teaching IMT 599: Practicum in Information Management as a visiting instructor for the Winter 2023 semester.
