Biography

Jeffrey Liew is a developmental learning scientist with nationally and internationally recognized expertise in social-emotional development, emotional self-regulation processes, and early childhood and adulthood. He was ranked among the World's Top 2% Scientists in 2020 by data verified by Elsevier and Stanford University. His research primarily focuses on resilience and factors linked to developmental and academic learning outcomes. He is also a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the American Psychological Association (APA). As the current Department Head of the Department of Educational Psychology, he oversees multiple staff and faculty, focusing on enhancing academic and operational excellence.
