Biography

Jeff Siirola is a Professor of Engineering Practice at Purdue University within the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company in 2011, where he had a distinguished career spanning over 39 years as a Technology Fellow. In addition to his role at Purdue, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He has received multiple awards for his achievements in the field, including the AIChE Evans Chemical Engineering Practice Award and being inducted into the National Academy of Engineering in 2005.
