Biography

A/Prof Jenny Richmond studies how changes in the brain drive changes in memory and emotion from infancy through childhood. She uses converging methods including behavioral measures, eye tracking, and electrophysiology to understand developmental functions that are known to depend on the hippocampus. As the Director of Academic Programs in the School of Psychology, she has a particular interest in teaching practices that prioritize student wellbeing and in programs that provide undergraduates with hands-on research experience, preparing Psychology graduates for fulfilling careers.
