Biography

Jere R. Behrman is a leading international researcher in empirical microeconomics with a specific emphasis on developing economies. His research interests encompass empirical microeconomics, labor economics, and human resources, particularly focusing on early childhood development, education, health, and nutrition. Behrman has a substantial portfolio that includes project evaluations and economic demography. He has published over 350 professional articles primarily in leading economic journals, demographic studies, and biomedical publications, alongside authoring thirty-three books.
