Biography

Dr. Jiaqing (Kathy) Sun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics (LSE). She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Beijing Normal University. Her research primarily focuses on emotional attributional processes pertaining to leader-follower interactions, investigating how leaders perceive relationships and how these perceptions affect employee emotions, such as gratitude towards leaders' behaviors, especially in connection with special treatment from servant leaders. Dr. Sun has published her work in prominent journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. Additionally, she has been recognized with awards such as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Graduate Scholarship and the Greenleaf Scholar award from the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership. She is committed to expanding collaborations with like-minded scholars in the fields of emotions, attributions, and servant leadership.
