Jingrong Wang received her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2024. She previously earned her M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Victoria in 2019 and her B.Eng. in Electronic Information Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2017. Her research focuses on distributed online machine learning, mobile edge computing, and wireless communications, with an emphasis on scalable resource-efficient algorithms for decentralized networks. Wang serves as Chair for the IEEE Women in Engineering Newfoundland and Labrador Section since 2024, and she has also been recognized as a Young Researcher Fellow by N2Women at IEEE LCN in 2018, supporting her commitment to advance women in technology.
