Dr. Jordan Hansen

Biography

Jordan Hansen is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Education and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Information, where she specializes in career development for Bachelor of Science in Information (BSI) and Accelerated Master's Degree Program (AMDP) students. Her core responsibilities include career coaching, conducting workshops, and managing the internship program for BSI AMDP students. Jordan is dedicated to creating inclusive and psychologically safe spaces for students, encouraging them to ask questions and engage actively in their career development. She emphasizes the importance of well-being and professional development in the workplace, working collaboratively to help students discover opportunities where they can grow and thrive. Jordan holds a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, and an M.A. in Educational Studies with a focus in Higher Education Student Affairs from Ohio State University.
