Biography

Joseph C. Ayoob is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computational and Systems Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His primary research interest revolves around the design and implementation of innovative research training efforts for trainees at various levels. He has been actively involved in National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded initiatives, notably the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program titled Training Experimentation in Computational Biology (TECBio) initiated in 2010.
