Biography

Joshua Angrist is a professor at MIT and notable for his contributions to the fields of Economics and Education. He has served as a Ford Professor and has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Econometric Society. Angrist's research primarily focuses on the effects of school inputs and organization on student achievement, the impacts of education and social programs on labor markets, and the effects of immigration and labor market regulation. He has co-authored the book 'Mostly Harmless Economics: Empiricist's Companion' and has contributed to various academic publications, serving on editorial boards and as a co-editor for the Journal of Labor Economics.
