Biography

Dr. Jauregui is an emergency physician and an expert in health professions education, devoted to excellence in teaching and the advancement of whole person care. His research focuses on undergraduate medical education and faculty development, particularly in enhancing the learning environment and ensuring psychological safety. He serves as the Director of Student Programs and Clerkship in Emergency Medicine, as well as the Associate Director of the Health Professions Education Scholarship Center Leadership Innovation in Medical Education at Olympic College. Additionally, he is a member of the AAMC National GEA Grant Committee and will serve as Co-Chair for the CORD CDEM track. Dr. Jauregui enjoys competing in half-marathons and going on long backpacking trips as well as engaging in fictional narrative.
