Biography

Juba Ziani is an Assistant Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Juba's work employs game theory and optimization to tackle technical and societal challenges posed by advancements in AI and machine learning, especially in terms of data-driven decision-making and fairness in automated systems. His ongoing research explores the economics of data exchange in AI systems, fairness considerations in algorithmic decision-making, and the performance of ML models in high-stakes environments.
