Biography

Justin Knibbe is an experienced entrepreneur and educator who has been teaching since 2020. He focuses on entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, innovation, and new venture creation for both undergraduate and graduate students. Justin is passionate about supporting his students and helping their ideas come to life. He advocates for mental health awareness and understands the pressures students face. He believes in the power of experiential learning, utilizing games and activities to bring lessons to life. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Justin serves as the Faculty Advisor for the social entrepreneurship club, Enactus. His dedication to students has been recognized with several awards, including the Student Union Teaching Excellence Award (2020-2021), an Honorable Mention for the same award (2022-2023), the Haskayne Students’ Association Superior Service Award (2022-2023), and the Dean’s Award for Unparalleled Learning (2023) for his work with the Master of Management program. Currently, he is the Director of the Master of Management program at Haskayne, where he is actively involved in planning events and activities for students, and has contributed to significant growth in the program.
