Biography

Karla Holmboe is a Professor of Developmental Science at the University of Bristol. Her research focuses on the development of executive functions during infancy and early childhood, employing longitudinal studies and behavioral neuroimaging techniques to explore these areas. Throughout her career, she has held externally funded fellowships supported by organizations such as the ESRC, British Academy, and MRC, with positions at King's College London, the University of Essex, and the University of Oxford. She began her role as a Lecturer at the University of Bristol in August 2021 and is open to inquiries regarding potential PhD supervision.
